Location Amplitude (m) Damage Summary
Skagway, AK 7.6 One drowned, $2M damage to ferry dock, $100K damage to small boat harbor, $15-20M damage to railroad dock. Several slides occurred; initial were sub-sea in Lynn Canal, these triggered a slide which involved a large part of the railroad dock. Tsunami caused by initial slides in Lynn Canal.
