West Coast/Alaska Tsunami Warning Center Seismometer Sites

Site Conditions: S-13, GeoTech 7505A, CMG-3NSN, and Kinemetrics Episensor seismometers placed in a cable vault below an Air Force building on Eareckson Air Force Base. The vault is built into Tertiary volcanics. The CMG-3NSN and Episensor were installed in 1999 to US National Seismic Network specifications. The CMG-3NSN was removed and replaced with an STS-2 in October, 2003.
