West Coast/Alaska Tsunami Warning Center Seismometer Sites

Site Conditions: STS-2 seismometer buried approximately 1 feet deep in fractured rock and coupled to basement complex. Instrument is housed in a double insulated vault and is digitized with a Nanometrics Trident digitizer and transmitted via VSAT to WC/ATWC. Site is located near city water tower.
