Site Conditions: Site first installed on 6/17/2004 with an S-13 seismometer buried approximately 4 feet deep. Instrument is housed in a double insulated vault and is digitized with a Nanometrics Trident digitizer and transmitted via VSAT to WC/ATWC. On 11/17/2004, the S-13 was replaced with an STS-2 seismometer. Site is located near Akutan school.
